Moore had 22 tackles and 2 1/2 sacks for San Francisco last season. The Cardinals signed him Aug. 13 after he was released by the 49ers. Stewart, a former starter with Atlanta and Cleveland, was signed as a free agent after missing all of last season with a shoulder injury.

Also among those released was defensive end Joe Tafoya, who appeared in seven games for Arizona last year.

The others cut were cornerbacks Michael Adams, Travarous Bain and Demario Minter; defensive end Jason Banks, running backs Steve Baylark and Chris Vincent; offensive tackles Kelly Butler and Peter Clifford; defensive tackle Keilen Dykes; linebacker Chris Harrington; guard Jasper Harvey; safety Dennis Keyes; wide receivers Lance Long and Jamaica Rector; center Pat Ross; guards Jasper Harvey and Carlton Medder; and tight ends Brent Miller and Alex Shor.
