REPORT CARD VS. VIKINGS
PASSING OFFENSE: F -- QB Kurt Warner completed 6 of 18 for 30 yards. The Cardinals didn't protect him and they had a couple of drops.
RUSHING OFFENSE F -- The Cardinals called runs on seven of their first eight plays and had little success. That's not unusual. This club cannot run the football.
PASS DEFENSE: F -- Pats quarterback Matt Cassel threw for three touchdowns and wasn't intercepted. Mostly, he threw short screens and let his receivers run through the Cardinals secondary.
RUSH DEFENSE: F -- The Patriots were able to run, too. Their offensive line dominated a defense that didn't seem interested in playing.
SPECIAL TEAMS: B -- The kicking game was busy all day and performed competently. Steve Breaston tied a club record with nine kickoff returns. He won't be telling his grandkids about that one day.
COACHING: F -- The Cardinals played with no passion and looked like they would rather be anywhere else than Foxborough, Mass., on Sunday. Even at the NFL level, a coach has to get his team ready to play. And this team wasn't.
