--As a rookie last year, wide receiver Steve Breaston caught eight passes for 92 yards. He exploded this year for 77 catches and 1,006 receiving yards. Not bad, given that his goal was 600 yards.
"Personally, I'm blessed," said Breaston. So are the Cardinals because they needed someone to come through at the third receiver spot.
--NT Alan Branch played last Sunday for the first time since Week 4. Branch, a second-round pick in 2007, has been a bust so far. He's battled weight and motivation problems. "I was tired, I'll tell you that," Branch said after the game. "Game speed is completely different than practice speed." He finished with one tackle and missed a sack.
--The Seahawks started backups across the offensive line, but the Cardinals didn't take the group for granted. "Those guys have fresh legs," said defensive end Darnell Dockett. "They've been lifting weights for a damn 14 weeks. Now all of a sudden they get into a game and they're full of (expletive) energy."
--The team's fans booed several times during the first half, but quarterback Kurt Warner said he didn't notice. Coach Ken Whisenhunt did, but he noted that the fans did it early in the game, not late. "In the fourth quarter, there weren't any boos then," he said.
--The Cardinals' 9-7 record equaled their best mark since moving to Arizona in 1988. They also went 9-7 in 1998. So every 10 years, the Cardinals have a winning season.
